Digital contract signing process with Salesforce
Within the scope of the GDPR, a major bank had to have the contracts of over 30,000 merchant partners updated and signed. For this purpose, a digital contract signing process was established within a quarter – based on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Community Cloud. For this purpose, each dealer was given access to a fast self-service portal for signing contracts. The data submitted by the dealer was automatically transferred to the bank’s core systems.
The central processing enabled the monitoring of subscription rates and the connection of a call center to handle queries. Non-subscribed customers could also be processed in a targeted manner.
The digital contract signing process minimized costs enormously: The paper detour was eliminated, making it unnecessary to print out, send and re-enter over 30,000 contracts. This led to savings in the six-digit range.
